The Path Forward Workshop

The Path Forward is facilitated by Dr. Ken Adams or Jonathan Taylor, LCSW, CSAT and is intended to continue the journey towards passion and purpose. The workshop is intended to reinforce those boundaries created in Level 1 and deal more directly with the impact enmeshment can have on intimacy and your romantic life. Finding and healing the inner lover whose development was hindered by enmeshment.

This was a great experience which really nicely picked up where the first MEM course left off and dug deeper. It cut to the inner core of my issues. I have a new sense of clarity and purpose about who I want to be as a man and a lover.

As a recovering addict with rage and intimacy issues, I learned my anger is about myself because I lacked internal and external boundaries. As I practice healthier self care my relationship with myself is improving and with time is going to become automatic. My intimacy with my spouse is going to become all that we both want it to be and more. I highly recommend this workshop for any man that is open to improving his relationship with self, day to day relationships and significant other.

At the end of Level 2, I find myself able to say that I love myself genuinely, that the love within me is my own and is whole… and that I am able to share that freely with my beloved.

It was a chance to dive several layers deeper into the issue of enmeshment and its consequences in daily life. And it was an opportunity to build a toolkit of resiliency to help us as we take the next step.
