A Light in the Dark Workshop Series: Beginning the journey of healing for Adult Children of Sexually Addicted Parents (ACSAs)
Facilitated by Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Leilani Sinclair, LMFT, CSAT, this two-part workshop addresses the unique issues and challenges commonly experienced by adult children who grew up in a home with a sexually addicted parent. The goal of the workshop is to offer participants tools and insight that support a path toward greater clarity, healing, and the possibility of creating a new legacy—one not defined by addiction, shame, or intergenerational trauma. Rather than focusing on blame, the workshop creates space for participants to understand and acknowledge the lasting impact these experiences may have had on their lives and relationships.
This workshop is intended for adults who grew up with a parent whose sexual behavior felt confusing, secretive, or damaging, and who want to better understand the lasting impact of those experiences. Adult Children of Sex Addicts (ACSAs) often identify with experiences such as:
- Witnessing a parent’s sexualized or otherwise inappropriate behavior
- Witnessing conflict or arguments between parents
- Feeling ashamed of a parent’s sexual behavior
- Feeling the need to side with or caretake a parent
- Struggling with one’s own sexuality in adulthood
Participation is limited to eight participants in order to maintain a thoughtful, safe, and supportive environment for discussion and reflection.
Workshop Dates: June 13 & June 20, 2026 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT
Participants must be able to attend both sessions in order to register to participate.
Cost: $800 per participant. A $50 early registration discount is available for those who register before June 6, 2026.
